On Tuesday January 20, 2009 at 6 pm, at the Sherwood Conservatory of Music at Chicago Columbia College, 1312 S Michigan Avenue, violin soloist Guido Rimonda and five string players from the Orchestra Camerata Ducale of Vercelli, (Piedmonte) will be performing music by Giuseppe Tartini (1692-1770), Giovanni Battista Viotti (1775-1824), and Niccolò Paganini (1782-1840). The price is certainly right! The talent is awesome! And it's an all Italian program all the time! What's not to like?
I can't go because I work late on Tuesday....something about the Illinois College of Optometry actually expecting us to show up for our assignments from time to time...you know...to see patients and work with students....so, if you do go...I expect a full and complete report!!
